Aluminum is not found in native (free) state. It is found in combining state with different minerals. Aluminum has three principal ores Bauxite, Diaspora, cryolite.

 Bauxite → Al2O3.2H2O, Diaspore → Al2O3.H2O, Cryolite → Na3. AlF6
