Electrons, Proton, Neutron are the fundamental particles of an atom. Electron was discovered by JJ Thomson, Proton was discovered by Rutherford and Neutron was discovered by Chadwick. Charge on electron = Negative Charge on Proton = Positive Charge on Neutron = Zero (Neutral) No charge
