Rate line is the graphical representation of the connection between output and rate, with x-axis denoting the output and y-axis denoting the price. In other words, the price line shows the relationship between the market price and a firm’s output level. The vertical height of the price line is equal to the market charge. For a wonderfully competitive firm, rate line and call for curve are the same.
